Adding a line

If you want to position a line on a page press the button Line on the toolbar “Drawing” and then move the mouse to the page. You will see that the mouse pointer changes into a cross .

Press the left mouse button when the center of the cross is in the right position. You can read the position on the status bar. If you keep the left mouse button down and drag the mouse the stamp will be drawn between the position where you clicked the left mouse button and the current mouse position. The toolbar "Dimensions" shows the position and size of the stamp during drawing. The size of the line is the size of the imaginary rectangle around it.

Release the left mouse button when the line has the right size. You have now finished drawing the line.

Note:

If you want to draw more lines you can hold down the SHIFT-key when you press the Line button. The button remains down until you press another button on the toolbar "Drawing".
